Why DSC is non-negotiable
- MCA, GST, Income Tax e-filing, EPFO, ESIC and DGFT portals ALL require a Class-3 DSC for authorised signatories. Without it, you cannot file ANYTHING on these portals.
- Every director of a Pvt Ltd, OPC, LLP, Section 8 — at incorporation AND for every annual filing — needs a personal Class-3 DSC. No DSC = no MCA filing = company in default.
- GeM seller registration, govt tender bidding, and many B2G contracts mandate DSC-signed bid documents — paper bids are increasingly rejected.
