Registered Office Change

Move the company's official address — same city, same state or interstate.

Online across Kerala & all India Same city: 3–10 working days · Different city/state: 4–8 weeks (regulatory)

Where your company's registered office sits drives ROC jurisdiction, GST registration, and the address on every government letter. The MCA filing depends entirely on the distance: same city is one form; different ROC needs RD approval; different state is a full clearance process. We file each tier with the right proofs so it clears the first time.

Questions, answered

I moved across town. Do I really need to file anything?
Yes. Even a same-city move requires within 30 days. Government letters go to your registered address — miss the filing and notices end up at the old place, which is how strike-off petitions surprise founders.
What's the difference between INC-22 and INC-23?
INC-22 is the actual address-change filing. INC-23 is needed when the change requires Regional Director approval (different city beyond local limits, or different state). Same-city moves only need INC-22.
How long does an interstate move actually take?
Plan for 8 weeks. The Section 13 process needs creditor publication, RD hearing, and stamp-duty repayment. We map every step in the Different State tier and keep you posted on WhatsApp.
