Why ISO is non-negotiable
- Govt tenders increasingly require ISO 9001 as a baseline qualification — without it, you fail the pre-qualification screen on most multi-crore tenders.
- B2B clients (especially MNCs, banks, IT majors) require ISO 9001/27001 in vendor onboarding due diligence. Without it, you can be technically capable but contractually disqualified.
- Export markets in EU and US: ISO certifications signal that your QMS is internationally recognised, often shortcutting customs and customer audits.
- WARNING: many sites sell ₹3,999 'ISO certificates' from non-accredited bodies — these are worthless. We only work with NABCB / IAS / IAF-recognised bodies. The certificate is checkable on the certifier's portal — fakes are obvious to a procurement officer.
